Tanukichan stops at one of our favorite local venue, Mahall's, on their latest U.S. tour this past Thursday!
A dreamy hazy light shines down upon the eager crowd of listeners as Tanukichan a.k.a Hannah Junghwa van Loon (also on bass), Bee Wright (guitar), and Joe Lyle (drums), deliver the musician's iconic soft rock & pop melodies.
The crowd cheers and sways excitedly as the trio performs both newer songs from their EP "Circles" as well as long-time fan favorites, such as their single "Enough".
I find myself getting lost in thought and just really enjoying the warmth from the drifty tones of the music (and okay, it's true it was pretty toasty in the venue due to the large crowd, but mostly it was the music I swear!).
It was just so cool to see an artist who has been on tour with the likes of Melanie Martinez playing at our big-time small-time venue, Mahall's, especially one in which I am personally a huge fan.
Tanukichan has four more U.S. tour stops left as of writing, so try to catch a show if you can!
