Chiodos @ House of Blues (12/1/2025)
Celebrating the 20-year anniversary of “All’s Well That Ends Well,” Chiodos continued their tour in Cleveland on Monday evening. They stopped at House of Blues, where fans trekked through the snow to pack the sold-out venue. The first opener to hit the stage was Big Ass Truck, followed by Holywatr. Next up were the “hometown heroes” (from just a few hours away), Hawthorne Heights. They wrapped up their set with “Ohio Is for Lovers,” which the entire crowd sang along to.
When Chiodos took the stage, my very first thought was how beautiful and true-to-the-record Craig Owens’ voice sounded. Unique within the genre, he sings high but switches effortlessly into screams. I could easily make a whole list of tracks I’d love to hear him cover because his voice would fit in so many places.
The stage setup was fairly simple, but it was quickly elevated by an impressive light show. Standing in the photo pit, I felt energy from the crowd behind me and from the band in front of me. It would have been easy to get overwhelmed if I hadn’t been so stoked to be there. The band played the full album with a few deeper cuts mixed in, saving the massive hit “Baby, You Wouldn’t Last a Minute on the Creek” for last. I had such a great time, and until next time, Chiodos you're awesome.
